About The Position

Griffin Ford is looking for a Used Car Technician to join our fast-paced, high-performing service department. We operate a 35-bay shop, including a dedicated heavy truck facility, and pride ourselves on efficiency, quality, and strong team culture.

If you’re experienced in used vehicle reconditioning, diagnostics, and quick turnaround repairs, this is a great opportunity to grow with a busy dealership.

Requirements

• Experience as an automotive technician (used car or general line)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
• Own tools required
• Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

• Ford experience is a plus (but not required)

Responsibilities

• Perform used vehicle inspections and reconditioning
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
• Complete multi-point inspections and identify needed repairs
• Ensure all vehicles meet dealership safety and quality standards
• Handle brakes, suspension, tires, maintenance, and light engine work
• Support fast inventory turn times for the sales department
• Communicate findings clearly with service advisors and management
