About The Position

Fred Anderson Automotive Group is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians for their Toyota of Asheville site. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing family of service providers, featuring a 4-day work week with extended time off every third week, and weekly pay. Requirements

  • At least 2-3 years prior technician experience
  • Ability and knowledge to conduct repair orders and mechanical work on vehicles
  • Maintain the ability to diagnose and repair vehicles in accordance with the manufacturer standards
  • Possess one or more ASE certifications
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Strong focus on providing the best service experience for every customer
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle record is required
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Perform factory scheduled maintenance
  • Follow all manufacturer repair and diagnostic procedures
  • Test drive vehicles to identify any concerns or issues
  • Communicate with service advisors about repairs and additional needs for vehicle
  • Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of vehicles
  • Work as a team with the service department professionals
  • Participate in classes and training to advance knowledge of working on vehicles
  • Stay up to date on products and vehicle maintenance requirements
  • Produce quality work every day and focus on fixing it right the first time
  • Answer questions regarding vehicles, the dealership and service
  • Work towards Master Technician certification if not a Master Technician already
  • Strive to excel at the most essential functions of your role
  • Measure and improve
  • Be a leader, taking initiative and ownership
  • Set a good example with high standards
