About The Position

At Family Car Group, we’re growing, and fast. Our used car volume continues to increase, which means more opportunity for our team. Simply put, we have more work than we can handle (the good kind of problem), and we’re looking for skilled technicians who want to stay busy, earn consistently, and be part of a team that supports each other. We are seeking a Used Car Technician for our 2nd shift to help keep up with our high reconditioning volume. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, works efficiently, and wants a steady flow of vehicles without downtime.

Requirements

• Previous automotive technician experience (used car/recon experience preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and stay productive
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Perform used vehicle inspections and reconditioning
• Diagnose and complete mechanical repairs (brakes, suspension, engine, electrical, etc.)
• Complete multi-point inspections and document findings
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work collaboratively with service advisors and management to keep vehicles moving efficiently
