About The Position

Ron Tonkin Toyota has been experiencing massive growth and to keep up with demands, we are looking for an additional Used Car Technician/Mechanic to join our Service Department. Our dealership has plenty of work and is always busy! The Used Car Technician/Mechanic is important to our operation because it opens our clientele base to used car owners. If you are an experienced automotive technician, this is a position you should consider. The ideal candidate would have prior car technician experience as well and would have a reliable work history.

Requirements

• 1-3 years prior used car technician experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Personal Tools.
• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Keep the shop area neat and clean.
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and by the dealership.
