About The Position

Used Car Manager – Nunnally Chevrolet Are you a high-energy leader with a "buyer" mindset and a passion for the pre-owned market? Nunnally Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Used Car Manager to take our pre-owned department to the next level. We aren’t just looking for someone to sit behind a desk and desk deals—we need a strategic thinker who understands inventory lifecycle, market-based pricing, and how to motivate a sales team to move metal. The Role As our Used Car Manager, you will be the heartbeat of our pre-owned operations. Your goal is simple but challenging: Maximize turn, maintain healthy margins, and ensure our lot is stocked with the right units. Inventory Management: Appraising trades with precision, managing wholesale/retail mix, and sourcing high-quality units from auctions and private parties. Merchandising: Ensuring every vehicle on the lot is "front-line ready" and looking its best online with high-quality descriptions and photos. Desking & Leadership: Helping the sales team close deals, managing CRM follow-ups, and coaching consultants on the unique value propositions of our used inventory. Market Strategy: Utilizing tools (vAuto, Provision) to stay ahead of market trends and adjust pricing daily to stay competitive. What We’re Looking For Experience: Minimum 3+ years in Automotive Management (specifically Used Car/Appraisal experience preferred). Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with inventory management & ELeads CRM platform. Sharp Eye: The ability to spot a "cherry" and know exactly what a car needs to get retail-ready.
