About The Position

Job Summary: The Used Car Lot Porter is responsible for maintaining the appearance and organization of the pre-owned vehicle inventory while supporting daily dealership operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring vehicles are customer-ready, properly staged, and safely moved to support the sales team and overall customer experience.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Ability to safely operate and maneuver vehicles in tight spaces.
Ability to stand, walk, and move vehicles for extended periods of time.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining dealership presentation standards.
Professional communication and customer service skills.
Must be authorized to work in the USA.
Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements, including drug testing, background check, and MVR.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a porter, lot attendant, or automotive dealership role.
Basic knowledge of vehicle features and inventory organization practices.

Responsibilities

Move, stage, and park vehicles to maintain an organized, customer-ready lot display.
Assist with customer vehicle deliveries, including final staging and preparation.
Transport vehicles between dealership locations or offsite storage as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the car lot, showroom entrances, and display areas.
Install dealer tags, check fuel levels, and perform light detailing touch-ups as needed.
Provide professional and courteous assistance to customers on the lot, directing them to appropriate sales staff.
Follow all safety policies and immediately report any vehicle damage, incidents, or concerns to management.
