About The Position

Requirements

• Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience OR 2 years' general work experience including 1 year's optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales in the Vision Center through effective merchandise presentation and inventory management.
• Model and enforce customer service approaches to resolve customer/member needs and complaints.
• Oversee community outreach programs and encourage associates to engage with the community.
• Ensure compliance with company and legal policies for the Vision Center by analyzing reports and implementing safety controls.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, training, and mentoring.
• Consult with and educate customers on eyewear options, verifying prescriptions and maintaining confidentiality.
• Coordinate job-related activities by developing relationships with stakeholders and supporting business initiatives.
• Uphold the company's Open Door Policy by addressing associate concerns and suggesting resolutions.
