About The Position

The position involves upholding the Company's Open Door Policy by engaging with Associates, addressing their concerns, and providing resolutions. The role includes initiating and participating in community outreach programs, establishing relationships with community members, and representing the Company in various external organizations. The individual will drive the financial performance of the Facility by achieving sales and profit goals, controlling expenses, and overseeing budget creation. Additionally, the position requires modeling customer service approaches, directing facility operations, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation. The role also emphasizes the importance of training and developing Associates, promoting company policies, and evaluating the effectiveness of current plans and initiatives. The individual will be responsible for building high-performing teams, maintaining integrity and compliance, and delivering results while prioritizing customer needs. The position also includes a focus on continuous improvement and supporting the development of Associates through mentorship and performance evaluations.

Requirements

  • 4 years general management experience including financial accountability.
  • 4 years’ experience supervising 50 or more exempt and non-exempt associates/employees.
  • Successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training for facilities that sell firearms.
  • Completion of all job-required trainings and assessments.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership.
  • Experience running a fresh or dry grocery area.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the management team in facility operations and communicate effectively with Associates.
  • Ensure effective merchandise presentation and accurate pricing.
  • Oversee the success of the Academy training environment and store standards.
  • Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for Associates.
  • Promote and support company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics.
