About the position

The position involves leading and developing teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. Responsibilities

  • Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
  • Tours stores and provides feedback to associates.
  • Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations.
  • Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards.
  • Manages customer service initiatives and ensures customer needs are successfully resolved.
  • Drives financial performance and sales by reviewing and evaluating Profit Loss statements.
  • Manages budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
  • Ensures effective merchandise presentation and operational processes.
  • Supervises and develops hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and supports company mission and values.

Requirements

  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
  • Successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training for facilities that sell firearms.
  • Attendance and successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports.
