About The Position

As a Software Engineer II at Sam's Club, you will be responsible for translating requirements into technical solutions, writing code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will oversee small project teams, providing guidance and insights to optimize processes and delivery protocols. This role requires extensive expertise in Java and related frameworks, as well as a strong focus on developing technologically advanced solutions that enhance the end-user experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering, or 4 years' experience in software engineering.
  • Extensive expertise in object-oriented programming, particularly Java8 and related frameworks.
  • Strong experience in RESTful Microservices and API development.
  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture, preferably Azure.
  • Superior analytical skills and a good problem-solving attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in creating inclusive digital experiences and knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science.
