Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.

  • Performs basic to intermediate inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, and replacements following company guidelines on all Walmart equipment.
  • Creates and processes work orders assessing maintenance repair and replacement needs.
  • Identifies needed parts and possible solutions, selecting the best possible solution.
  • Conducts maintenance repairs and replacements, such as repairing and replacing brake system components and replacing leaky wheel seals.
  • Dismounts and installs tractor trailer tires following company and Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.
  • Communicates with individuals or groups verbally and in writing and completes work orders, records, logs, and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures.
  • Receives fuel drops and conducts fuel sampling by monitoring the drop to ensure safety compliance.
  • Monitors tank levels before and after the drop, collects and prepares fuel samples for analysis and shipping, and completes appropriate paperwork.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license.
  • Brake inspection qualified as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, Section 396.25.
  • Vehicle Inspection qualified as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, Section 396.19.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • ASE Certification.
