As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions, driving technical decisions and ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to shaping product architecture and best practices. Our team builds and maintains the foundational technologies that support the tech organization, including data platforms, enterprise architecture, DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure. All of these products and services are supported by scalable and powerful infrastructure, ensuring a secure and seamless employee and customer experience across stores, digital channels, and distribution centers.

  • Design and develop complex, scalable, and reliable software systems.
  • Lead technical decisions, including architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, ensuring quality through testing and reviews.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Identify and resolve performance, security, and scalability challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area, or 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Strong skills in problem solving, distributed programming, micro-services architecture, Java, Spring, GoLang.
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes, MemcacheD, Kafka, Cloud DB technologies.
  • Operational experience in monitoring and triaging distributed applications at scale.
  • Experience in building highly available, distributed, scalable, robust cloud native applications.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Domain knowledge of configuration management systems, feature flagging, experimentation.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
