About The Position

The position involves various responsibilities centered around model assessment and validation, data visualization, understanding business context, analytical modeling, model deployment and scaling, code development and testing, tech problem formulation, data source identification, AI agent development, and data strategy. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of model fit, testing, tuning, and validation techniques, as well as the ability to generate appropriate graphical representations of data and model outcomes. The candidate will work closely with User Experience designers and User Interface engineers to build front-end applications and present findings to business stakeholders. Additionally, the role includes mentoring junior associates and providing recommendations to solve complex business issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 5 years' experience in an analytics related field.
• Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 3 years' experience in an analytics related field.
• 7 years' experience in an analytics or related field.

Nice To Haves

• Data science, machine learning, optimization models.
• PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics.
• Supervisory experience.
• Using open source frameworks (for example, scikit learn, tensorflow, torch).

Responsibilities

• Model Assessment and Validation: Apply best practice techniques for model testing and tuning to assess accuracy, fit, validity, and robustness for multistage models and model ensembles.
• Data Visualization: Generate appropriate graphical representations of data and model outcomes using multiple data visualization tools.
• Understanding Business Context: Provide recommendations to business stakeholders to solve complex business issues and develop business cases for projects.
• Analytical Modeling: Select appropriate modeling techniques for complex problems with large-scale, multiple structured and unstructured data sets.
• Model Deployment and Scaling: Deploy models to production and continuously log and track model behavior.
• Code Development and Testing: Write code to develop required solution and application features, create test cases, and validate proposed solutions.
• Tech Problem Formulation: Analyze business problems and identify approaches to resolve them.
• Data Source Identification: Define and identify suitable sources for required data and perform initial data quality checks.
• AI Agent Development: Apply knowledge of AI Agent and related technologies to enhance existing models and business processes.
• Data Strategy: Articulate and apply principles of data strategy to unique business problems.
