The Senior Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving data-informed decisions and building analytical tools that support high-impact investigations and risk mitigation strategies across Global Governance. The selected hire will work from our beautiful new home office in Bentonville, AR! You'll work with our attorneys, investigators and other partners to build practical tools that support Walmart Global Investigations. Build dashboards or other tools relevant to the Investigations you have been assigned. Work as part of a team - leading the analytical workstream on highly sensitive investigations. Think proactively and build tools that help Walmart spot and mitigate potential risk. Work with all areas of the business to find and ingest relevant data sets. Collaborate with data stewards and other teams to gather and process security requests and ensure compliance with Walmart security policies.

  • Drive data-informed decisions and build analytical tools for investigations.
  • Work with attorneys, investigators, and partners to support Walmart Global Investigations.
  • Build dashboards or tools relevant to assigned investigations.
  • Lead the analytical workstream on sensitive investigations.
  • Proactively build tools to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Collaborate with various business areas to find and ingest relevant data sets.
  • Gather and process security requests in compliance with Walmart security policies.
  • Solid SQL skills and experience with Google Big Query.
  • Ability to write in Python or use ETL tools such as Alteryx, Tableau Prep, or Dataiku.
  • Experience creating tools using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong exploratory data analysis skills and ability to make data-driven recommendations.
  • Experience with investigations in a retail environment.
  • Experience with languages used to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets (SQL, Python, etc.).
