About The Position

The position involves managing freight flow by moving, scanning, and handling freight manually and/or with power equipment. Responsibilities include maintaining merchandise supply by replenishing pallets of merchandise onto/from racks or docks using warehouse systems or through verbal instructions. The role also requires providing basic maintenance to equipment, ensuring freight quality by processing stray and damaged cases, inspecting pallets, shrink wrap, and freight for damage, and maintaining records, logs, and forms. Additionally, the position involves organizing the warehouse by using power equipment to remove pallets from pallet returns and upstacking/downstacking empty pallets and freight.

Responsibilities

• Manage freight flow by moving, scanning, and handling freight manually and/or with power equipment.
• Maintain merchandise supply by replenishing pallets of merchandise onto/from racks or docks using warehouse systems or through verbal instructions.
• Provide basic maintenance to equipment, such as cleaning and inspecting.
• Ensure freight quality by processing stray and damaged cases, inspecting pallets, shrink wrap, and freight for damage.
• Organize warehouse by using power equipment to remove pallets from pallet returns and upstacking/downstacking empty pallets and freight.
