About The Position

The position involves communicating with individuals or groups verbally and in writing, including customers, suppliers, and associates. The role requires driving and implementing the business plan for the area of responsibility to achieve facility goals such as production, quality, and safety, while also implementing operational improvements. Responsibilities include forecasting staffing workload and performance results, preparing and analyzing business reports to identify operational improvements, and ensuring compliance with logistics and company quality and safety standards. The position also involves supervising and managing associates and leaders, overseeing the execution of QA guidelines and systems operations, and fostering a culture of belonging and integrity within the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management).
  • 1 year experience in an operations/distribution/logistics environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors.
  • 1 year experience as a Walmart Logistics Area Manager.
  • 3 years experience in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment.
  • 1 year experience as a Walmart Logistics Operations Manager.
  • Completion of all job-required trainings and assessments.
