About The Position

The position involves monitoring dairy plant production processes such as milk receiving, separation, standardization, pasteurization, and batching by following Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). The role requires ensuring all paperwork is accurate, verifying charts including frequency, pen cut, in-cut, out temperatures, and product recording temperatures. The individual will troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties and communicate any problems or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production or food safety to management. Safety practices must be followed, including observing confined space safety guidelines, wearing required personal protection equipment, ensuring safe chemical handling, and maintaining sanitation of equipment. The role supports Continuous Improvement by maintaining process and equipment performance data to improve quality and throughput, operating and cleaning equipment to maximize throughput, and monitoring fats, total solids, allergens, and cryoscopes associated with processing dairy products. The individual will complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, and communicating progress. Compliance with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity is essential, as is fostering a culture of belonging and respect for individuals.

Requirements

  • 1 year's experience in a distribution or production environment (e.g., logistics, dairy plant, food processing, or manufacturing).
