About The Position

The position involves working closely with the Production Scheduler to develop weekly production plans and ensure the availability of appropriate materials for production lines. The role includes leading and developing Shift Supervisors while monitoring plant performance to meet daily production and business goals. Collaboration with the Maintenance team is essential to develop work priorities and identify work windows for production areas. The position also supports the Continuous Improvement team in fostering associate-driven improvement initiatives focused on production. Ensuring compliance with Safety and Food Safety regulations is critical to maintain a safe work environment and audit readiness. The role requires coordination and oversight of job-related activities by building relationships with key stakeholders to support plans and initiatives that meet customer and business needs. This includes identifying and communicating goals, measuring progress, and addressing improvement opportunities while promoting continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, food science, engineering, business management, or related area and 5 years' experience in progressive leadership roles in a manufacturing environment.
  • 10 years' experience in manufacturing, food processing, or dairy processing.

Nice To Haves

  • 10 years' experience in Safe Quality Foods (SQF) or other Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) formats.
  • Experience with Clean in Place/Clean Out of Place (CIP/COP) and sanitation equipment.
  • Experience in writing and maintaining standard operating procedures.
