About The Position

The position involves ensuring compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for assigned areas by analyzing and interpreting reports, implementing and monitoring loss prevention and safety controls, overseeing safety operational and quality assurance reviews, and developing and implementing action plans. The role also includes providing pharmaceutical care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders under the direction of a pharmacist, counseling customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs, and maintaining confidentiality and controlled medication procedures as permitted by local, state, and federal laws. Additionally, the position requires ensuring the accuracy of chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances, evaluating potential chemical interactions and side effects associated with prescribed medications, and ensuring accurate communication and interpretation of written prescriptions from physicians. Customer service is a key component, which includes acknowledging customer needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, resolving issues, and promoting products while maintaining a safe shopping environment. The role also involves operating equipment such as cash registers, receiving and stocking merchandise, maintaining the pharmacy area, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in final year at an accredited Pharmacy school.
