About The Position

The position involves ensuring that the area of responsibility is maintained according to company policies and procedures. This includes handling returns, zoning the area, organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages. The role also emphasizes providing excellent member service by maintaining exit areas, reviewing member receipts, and assisting members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise. The associate will assist in securing Sam's Club assets by observing potential criminal activity and maintaining required documentation. The associate will complete work assignments by collaborating with managers and coworkers, identifying priorities, and adapting to changes. Requirements

  • Customer Service experience.
  • Retail experience including operating front end equipment (e.g., cash register).
  • Experience working with mobile retail applications.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure area of responsibility is maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide member service by maintaining exit areas and reviewing member receipts.
  • Assist members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise.
  • Manage the self-checkout area and resolve member issues.
  • Promote Sam's Club products and services.
  • Process member purchases and assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
  • Secure and safeguard Sam's Club assets by observing potential criminal activity.
  • Assist with training of Member Frontline Service associates.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers and coworkers.
