As a key member of this dynamic team, you'll help guide technology and business strategy, directly impacting our ability to serve millions of customers with trust and efficiency.

  • Identify IT and security risks, assess controls, and recommend improvements across Walmart's technology landscape.
  • Drive audit efficiencies by spotting automation and integration opportunities, creating standard methodologies, and responding to critical business situations.
  • Develop and manage IT audit plans and oversee integrated testing across platforms and applications.
  • Lead audit projects from planning through execution, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to methodology.
  • Provide technical guidance to auditors, review workpapers, challenge findings, and draft audit reports.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, information technology, or related area and 2 years' experience in information technology, audit, or information security OR 4 years' experience in information technology, business, engineering, audit, information security or related area.
  • Deep expertise in IT audit, risk assessment, and application of industry frameworks and standards.
  • Proven ability to assess and improve IT controls, guide teams on audit best practices, and deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify root causes, assess risks, and propose effective solutions for complex IT issues.
  • Experience adapting to evolving technologies and business needs, while upholding ethics and integrity.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply data classification and control concepts to drive compliance and business success.
  • 7 years' experience leading cross-functional computer information systems audit projects.
  • Certification in a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certification Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
  • Prior work experience at a Big 4 accounting firm or similar environment dealing with technology risks.
  • Prior work experience at a large organization that manages its own technology infrastructure and has multiple architectural and deployment models (for example, both on-premises and cloud).
