As a Manager II, Quality Engineer in Supply Chain, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and supporting the company's policies, initiatives, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Your primary responsibility will be to lead various Process Improvement tools and methods, such as 5S, root cause analysis, six sigma, and time and motion studies, aimed at eliminating Quality losses and deviations within a Distribution Center. This will be executed in accordance with the Network Process Structure using Performance System (WPS) programs. You will compile and submit deviations to existing One Best Way playbooks and provide valuable input to Divisional Focused Improvement Teams regarding project ideation and replication opportunities. In addition to leading process improvement initiatives, you will assist with the tactical deployment of the Quality Excellence WPS program methodology. This includes managing project execution of top Quality losses in your functional area and aiding in the development of other area managers and associates. You will also be responsible for creating area Quality loss profile analyses and performance metrics, as well as developing gap analyses to support WPS integration. Your leadership will extend to Quality-related savings projects, where you will work to remove losses from processes and support Department Managers with WPS programs, projects, associate engagement, and KPI improvements. Your role will require you to deliver expected functional area results through Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analysis, loss elimination, and the creation of standard work to reduce process variation. You will assist in reviewing and responding to Quality-focused process improvement projects owned by area managers. Furthermore, you will coordinate and oversee job-related activities by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, and promoting continuous learning and adaptability within your team. As a leader, you will provide supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties, while ensuring diversity awareness. You will also ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, supporting the company's mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and providing guidance on business processes and practices.
