Coordinates the movement of trailers to designated locations with Warehouse Management. Maintains Walmart's trucks and trailers by conducting thorough inspections to ensure optimal mechanical performance, safety standards, and emergency equipment readiness. Maintains proper fuel levels and performs regular trailer inventory checks. Ensures quality by maintaining records, logs and forms, including any forms required by the Department of Transportation (DOT). Operates tractor/trailer units by adhering to all safety requirements, including placing trailers in designated locations. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
