About The Position
The position involves communicating with individuals or groups verbally and in writing, including customers, suppliers, and associates. The role requires driving and implementing the business plan for the area of responsibility to achieve facility goals such as production, quality, and safety, while also implementing operational improvements. The individual will serve as a community liaison by participating in local and community organizations and charitable activities, and championing company-sponsored programs and events to associates, customers, and the local community. Responsibilities include supervising and managing associates and leaders, monitoring performance, providing feedback, identifying training and development needs, and ensuring compliance with logistics and company quality and safety standards. The role also involves overseeing HR-related functions, ensuring compliance with HR policies and local, state, and federal laws, and addressing employment-related concerns.
