About The Position

The position involves preparing and executing budgets by developing cost estimates on requested and planned projects. Responsibilities include approving purchases of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies, providing technical assistance and consultation to facilitate purchases, and verifying receipt and acceptance of purchases. The role also manages internal scheduled projects by determining work assignment priority, planning work assignments, and developing and maintaining workforce needs. Additionally, the position creates punch lists to document discrepancies, ensures completion of projects and assignments, and sources, verifies, and approves material requisitions. The individual will gather capital expenditures lists and develop scopes of work to update existing assets in assigned facilities, such as landscaping and snow-related events. Compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations is essential, as is controlling company costs through price comparisons of parts and equipment. The role includes leading third-party providers, conducting quality assurance inspections, and troubleshooting customer service issues. The individual will also assess and resolve customer problems, evaluate landscaping needs, implement upgrades for sustainability, and coordinate with Home Office support to standardize equipment. Building relationships with stakeholders and modeling compliance with company policies are key aspects of the role.

Requirements

  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid, state-issued driver’s license.
  • No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last three years.
  • No more than two moving violations in the last three years, if driving a commercial motor vehicle.
  • No serious traffic violations in the last three years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
  • No preventable accidents in the last three years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
  • Able to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification at a minimum of a 90-day card.
  • Ability to read and speak in the English language.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management, or related area.
  • Certified Facilities Manager (CFM), Project Management (PMP), or related certification.
  • Third-party management experience.
