About The Position

We are seeking a Playwright Automation Engineer with solid experience in Playwright for web application test automation. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, and a good understanding of web application architecture, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs. Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies such as Agile and Scrum, as well as CICD tools and version control systems like Git and GitHub, is essential. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills are also required.

Requirements

• Solid experience with Playwright for web application test automation.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• Understanding of web application architecture, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Familiarity with CICD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub).
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Application Programming Interface (API) testing.
• Experience with JavaScript programming.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (primarily with TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python) for web applications.
• Create and implement scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation frameworks.
• Automate functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests, ensuring cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results, identifying and reporting defects.
• Perform root cause analysis of failed tests and assist in debugging.
• Contribute to test strategy and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, product managers) to define test automation strategies and requirements.
• Integrate automated tests into CICD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team meetings.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and test suites.
• Optimize test execution for speed, reliability, and coverage.
• Contribute documentation of test cases, automation processes, and troubleshooting guides.
