The Azure Developer should configure and manage MLPs Virtual Network in Azure, establish our core services in the VNET, and enable Azure to serve as a part of MLPs network. The role involves developing scripts to automate the deployment of resource stacks and associated configurations, utilizing native Azure services to meet the firm's technology and resiliency requirements. The Azure Developer will drive identity and access and configuration management, and monitoring strategy for Azure, leading the design process for network connectivity to Azure. Additionally, the position requires extending MLP standard systems management processes into the cloud, including change, incident, and problem management. The developer will establish and implement monitoring and management infrastructure for both availability and performance management, as well as establish internal pricing and instance selection model for Azure virtual machines. Integration of Azure management tooling with MLP, including automation of spin-up and spin-down and billing approvals, is also a key responsibility. The role includes designing and implementing data protection options, including HA and BCP protection in Azure. Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services is essential, along with an agile, solutions-oriented mindset. The candidate should have experience installing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based servers and services running various operating systems in an enterprise environment. Experience in creating tools, scripts, and automation with at least one of the following: PowerShell, Python, Ruby, and Bash is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary, along with 7 or more years of experience in architecting and building Azure Cloud solutions.
