About The Position

The position involves working on a legacy application for insurance clients that is migrating from a lower technology stack to a higher technology stack. As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), the candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to test automation, development, and quality assurance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a related field
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#, Typescript, and Javascript
• Experience with testing frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, and Playwright
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Concourse, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of databases including SQL, Postgres, MsSQL, and Bigquery
• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, ECHOAPI, and REST Assured
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Team collaboration and time management skills
• Documentation skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with synthetic data creation and test data versioning
• Knowledge of testing automated model generation and hyperparameter optimization validation
• Experience with model selection verification and prompt engineering for test scenarios
• Familiarity with handling MCP agents and AI model versioning

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test frameworks
• Write maintainable and reusable test code
• Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) testing in Concourse
• Create end-to-end, integration, and unit tests
• Write clean, efficient code for test automation in Typescript and Python for Web/API/Batch in Playwright/Selenium/Python
• Review code and provide constructive feedback
• Participate in software design discussions
• Maintain test infrastructure and tools
• Analyze test results and provide detailed bug reports in Jira
• Perform both manual and automated testing and check all code and artifacts in git
• Develop test strategies and test plans
• Monitor test coverage and quality metrics in Confluence and other testing result metrics
