This position involves leading the installation, configuration, and upgrade of SAP HANA environments. The role requires advanced monitoring, performance tuning, and optimization of SAP HANA databases, as well as designing and implementing robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for HANA. The candidate will manage user access, roles, and security policies within the SAP HANA system, proactively identify and resolve complex database issues, and plan and execute patching, upgrades, and migrations. Ensuring high availability and implementing replication solutions for SAP HANA is also a key responsibility. Regular health checks, audits, and capacity planning for HANA landscapes will be conducted, alongside collaboration with SAP Basis, application teams, and infrastructure teams. The role includes developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for HANA configurations and procedures, implementing automation for routine administration tasks, and providing expert-level support for all SAP HANA-related matters. The candidate should be ready to work in shifts and on weekends.
