About The Position

The position is for an SAP Basis Administrator with a focus on integration architecture. The role involves planning, installing, configuring, and upgrading various SAP systems including SAP S/4HANA, FIORI, SLT, SOLMAN, and SAP Router. The candidate will be responsible for performing OSDB migrations, Unicode conversions, SSO configuration, and SSL certificate management. Additionally, the role includes leading and supporting implementation and conversion projects for S/4HANA solutions, configuring the Transport Management System (TMS), and managing background jobs. The candidate will also apply support packages, perform kernel patch upgrades, and manage operational modes and profile parameters. Other responsibilities include setting up SAP backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions, optimizing performance, integrating SAP HANA with remote systems, and automating SAP Basis tasks through scripting. The position requires troubleshooting OS-level/system issues and providing on-call support on a weekday/weekend rotation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of SAP Basis HANA administration experience
• Hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA landscapes (implementation, conversion, migration)
• Strong SQL scripting knowledge (stored procedures, performance optimization)
• Deep understanding of the HANA in-memory platform (installation, upgrades, tuning, integration)
• Proficiency in OSDB migrations, Unicode conversions, and DMO tools
• High Availability/Disaster Recovery (HADR) configuration and support
• Strong experience in incident management and root cause analysis
• Linux OS administration in SAP environments

• SAP sizing (SAP Quick Sizer) and data archiving
• Advanced automation through scripting and development approaches

Responsibilities

• Plan, install, configure, and upgrade SAP S/4HANA, FIORI, SLT, SOLMAN, SAP Router, and related systems
• Perform OSDB migrations, Unicode conversions, SSO configuration, and SSL certificate management
• Lead and support implementation and conversion projects for S/4HANA solutions
• Configure Transport Management System (TMS), define transport strategies, and manage background jobs

• Perform system refresh tasks, client copies, exports/imports, and manage data archiving
• Optimize performance using SQL traces, stored procedures, and system tuning
• Integrate SAP HANA with remote systems and manage connectivity/access
• Conduct sizing activities using SAP Quick Sizer
• Automate SAP Basis tasks through scripting
• Troubleshoot OS-level/system issues, analyze logs, apply OSS notes, and create root cause analyses
• Configure and manage EarlyWatch reports and proactive monitoring
• Document processes and create standard operating procedures
• Provide on-call support (weekday/weekend rotation)
