As a Data Engineer III, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting the company's data-driven initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and/or Scala.
  • Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong understanding of in-memory processing and data formats (Avro, Parquet, JSON).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, MSK, S3, RDS, SNS, SQS).
  • Knowledge of big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and stream-processing systems (Storm, Spark-Structured-Streaming, Kafka consumers).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related field, or 5 years' experience in software engineering or related field, or Master's degree in Computer Science and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related field.
  • 2 years' experience in data engineering, database engineering, business intelligence, or business analytics.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related field.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences.
  • Knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement ETL processes for data integration.
  • Manage and optimize data pipelines for analytics and operational use.
  • Develop scalable data architectures using cloud services like AWS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements.
  • Ensure data quality and governance across the data lifecycle.
