About The Position

The position involves leading and developing teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. Responsibilities include touring stores and providing feedback, communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, and introducing and leading company change efforts. The role requires providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicating business objectives to teams effectively. Additionally, the position models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates, manages customer service initiatives, and ensures customer needs and complaints are successfully resolved. The role also drives financial performance and sales by reviewing and evaluating profit and loss statements, managing budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation and operational processes. Supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates are provided through hiring, training, mentoring, and setting clear expectations. The position ensures compliance with company policies and fosters a culture of belonging and integrity.

Requirements

  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
  • Successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training for facilities that sell firearms.
  • Attendance and successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments.

  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports.
