About The Position

The position involves communicating with individuals or groups verbally and in writing, including customers, suppliers, and associates. The role requires driving, developing, and implementing the business plan for the area of responsibility to achieve facility goals such as production, quality, and safety, while also implementing operational improvements. Responsibilities include forecasting and following up on staffing workload and performance results to meet business demands, managing assigned financial aspects by monitoring expenses compared to budget, and ensuring compliance with logistics and company quality and safety standards. The position also involves investigating and resolving associate, customer, and supplier concerns, serving as a community liaison, supervising and managing associates, and fostering a culture of belonging and high performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field.
  • 2 years experience in a senior management role within an operations/distribution/logistics environment.
  • Experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors.
  • Experience managing workload and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees facility-wide.
  • Alternatively, 2 years experience as a Walmart Logistics Operations Manager.
  • 4 years experience in a senior management role in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment.
