About The Position

The position involves driving sales through effective merchandise presentation, ensuring accurate pricing, proper signage, inventory levels, and cleanliness of the area. The role requires assessing economic trends and community needs, overseeing stocking and rotation of merchandise, setting up and organizing product displays, and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise. Additionally, the position includes leading and developing teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. The candidate will communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology and business initiatives, and leading company change efforts. Exceptional customer service standards must be modeled and demonstrated, managing customer service initiatives and ensuring customer needs and complaints are resolved effectively. The role also involves supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, controlling unexplained loss of merchandise, and improving profitability by identifying performance goals. The candidate will conduct operational reviews, gather data, and monitor deficiency trends, while also managing safety and risk controls within the facility. Compliance with company policies and procedures is essential, as well as fostering a culture of belonging and respect for individuals.

Requirements

  • Completion of 2 years of college.
  • 1 year’s experience as a supervisor in a multi-department environment.
  • 1 year’s experience in accounting, claims, inventory control, systems/UPC, personnel, or loss prevention/asset protection.
  • 2 years’ experience in asset protection or related area.
  • Successful completion of any applicable state requirements to work in asset protection.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership.
  • Certification in an asset protection related field.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports.
  • Investigative experience.
