About the position

The position involves maintaining the safety of the facility by adhering to all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines. This includes conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials correctly, and reporting unsafe situations to management. Additionally, the role requires securing and safeguarding the facility and surrounding areas by observing and communicating suspicious activity, assisting with investigations, maintaining necessary paperwork and logs, and executing emergency response procedures appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines.
• Conduct safety sweeps and follow proper forklift spotting procedures.
• Handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to established procedures.
• Report and correct unsafe situations to management.
• Secure and safeguard the facility by observing and communicating suspicious activity.
• Assist with investigations and maintain required documentation.
• Execute emergency response procedures appropriately.
