About The Position

The Asset Manager at Phoenix Technology Services USA Inc. is responsible for overseeing and managing a diverse portfolio of downhole directional drilling equipment across multiple regions. This role is critical for ensuring effective asset management throughout its lifecycle, including forecasting, procurement, maintenance, utilization, and disposal. The position requires strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of asset management principles to drive continuous improvement while balancing operational needs with cost control and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment asset management or fleet management.
  • Proven track record of managing equipment across multiple regions or locations.
  • Strong knowledge of asset management principles and lifecycle processes.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Equipment Manager, Asset Management Certification).
  • Proficiency in asset management software and ERP systems.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Work with asset specific owners to ensure holistic lifecycle management utilizing similar business processes across regions.
  • Collaborate with US operations and sales managers to forecast asset needs and plan for acquisitions.
  • Ensure adequate systems are in place for tracking asset location, condition, utilization, and compliance.
  • Develop or improve maintenance strategies to maximize asset uptime and reliability.
  • Monitor asset performance and utilization to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Develop and review asset utilization data, identify trends, and report to senior management on performance and cost savings.
  • Oversee compliance for asset disposal processes, ensuring proper decommissioning and recovery.
  • Lead and collaborate with regional asset owners, providing guidance and support to ensure adherence to asset-related processes.
