About The Position

The position involves a comprehensive understanding of data and digital literacy, environmental protection, operational excellence, partnership collaboration, employee health and safety, asset protection security, EHS training delivery, risk management, process improvement, influential communication, and transportation operations. The role requires the ability to articulate the levers that influence data, ensure data quality, and organize processes for analysis. It also involves knowledge of environmental policies, operational functions, stakeholder engagement, OSHA guidelines, asset protection practices, training methodologies, risk management processes, and transportation regulations. The position emphasizes collaboration, integrity, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety Management, Criminal Justice, Security, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • 2 years' experience in Environmental, Health and Safety or Asset Protection, Security within Supply Chain or Retail.
  • Completion of all job-required trainings and assessments.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 or More Degreed Certifications (Associate Safety Professional; Loss Prevention Certifications (LPC), Certified Security Professional (CSP)).
  • 2 or more years of investigative experience or asset protection experience in retail or warehouse.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; SharePoint and OneDrive.

Responsibilities

  • Articulates the levers that influence data and ensures data quality.
  • Operates tools for evaluating air, water, and waste pollution.
  • Supports regulatory visits and prepares audit reports.
  • Explains operational functions and key roles of assigned department.
  • Owns the delivery of project activity and tasks assigned by others.
  • Participates in OSHA and other regulatory inspections.
  • Works with tools for theft prevention and investigates security breaches.
  • Supports training programs and manages feedback solicitation.
  • Produces and interprets risk assessment reports.
  • Defines critical workflows for executing key processes.
  • Communicates effectively with team members and business partners.
  • Ensures compliance with transportation-related laws and regulations.
