About The Position

The Area Manager for Quality Assurance/Systems at Walmart is responsible for overseeing the quality and safety standards within the grocery logistics area. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field OR Associate's degree with 1 year of supervisory experience OR 2 years of Walmart logistics experience OR 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in software troubleshooting and Microsoft Office.
• Supervising experience in a grocery store or logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing.
• Implement the business plan for the area by managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads.
• Monitor and manage productivity by preparing and analyzing business reports.
• Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained and compliant with policies and procedures.
• Identify and resolve concerns from associates, customers, and suppliers.
• Supervise and develop associates by monitoring performance and providing feedback.
• Manage the execution of QA guidelines and procedures to increase efficiency and maintain inventory integrity.
• Oversee systems hardware and software maintenance and installation.
• Troubleshoot systems applications in collaboration with the Information Systems Division and vendors.
