About The Position

In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a specific area within the logistics operations at Walmart. Your primary role will involve effective communication with various stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and associates, both verbally and in writing. You will implement the business plan for your area of responsibility by clearly communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve the facility's objectives related to production, quality, and safety. Monitoring and managing productivity will be a key aspect of your role, which includes preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports to ensure that performance standards are met. You will maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring that associates are trained on logistics and company policies, monitoring compliance, and distributing necessary procedures and documentation. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and addressing concerns raised by associates, customers, or suppliers, consulting with others as needed to determine corrective actions or recommendations for resolution. As a supervisor, you will develop associates and leaders in your area by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and providing constructive feedback. You will also be involved in teaching, supporting, and modeling company policies and procedures, identifying training and development needs, and participating in the hiring, promotion, coaching, and evaluation processes for associates and leaders. Furthermore, you will manage the effective utilization of PMDC operations and equipment to produce quality print products in a timely manner, ensuring that customer specifications are consistently met.
