Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or prior experience in Quality or Process Improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Co-Op/Internship in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Distribution with experience in Lean/Continuous Improvement Tools.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management System elements including Statistical Process Control and Quality KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead process improvement tools and methods to eliminate quality losses in the Distribution Center.
  • Deliver functional area results through KPI analysis and loss elimination.
  • Assist with the review and response of quality-focused process improvement projects.
  • Compile and submit deviations to existing playbooks and provide input on project ideation.
  • Assist with the tactical deployment of the Quality Excellence WPS program methodology.
  • Manage project execution of top quality losses in the functional area.
  • Support Department Managers with WPS programs and KPI improvements.
  • Lead quality-related savings projects to reduce process losses.
  • Promote and support company policies and initiatives.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on best practices and action plans.
