About The Position

This position is responsible for leading process improvement tools and methods such as 5S, root cause analysis, six sigma, and time and motion studies to eliminate losses in a Distribution Center. The role involves delivering expected functional area results through Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analysis, loss elimination, and creating standard work to reduce process variation. The position assists with the review and response of process improvement projects owned by area managers and applies new network One Best Way playbooks. It also manages project execution of top losses in the functional area and supports area loss profile analysis and performance metrics. The role promotes and supports company policies, initiatives, and standards of ethics and integrity while developing relationships with key stakeholders. Additionally, it provides supervision and development opportunities for associates, ensuring compliance with company policies and fostering a culture of belonging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or prior experience in Process Improvement.
  • 2 years of process improvement or relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Co-Op/Internship in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Distribution.
  • Experience applying basic Lean/Continuous Improvement Tools.
