About The Position

This requisition is for our Summer 2025 interns. If you are interested in a Summer 2026 internship, requirements will open soon. The position involves communicating with individuals or groups verbally and in writing, maintaining quality and safety standards, monitoring associate compliance, managing productivity, dispatching drivers, identifying concerns, implementing business plans, and fostering a culture of respect and integrity. The role emphasizes delivering results while putting customers first, making data-driven decisions, striving for excellence, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program currently.
  • Expected graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026.
  • 0-1 years of relevant full-time experience (excludes internship and research-based roles).
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Office experience.
  • Experience with Walmart Dispatch.
  • Experience with Walmart Logistics Information Systems (e.g., Global Logistics Systems, Trailer Manifest System, Map Point, MapQuest, On Board Computer Systems, Visual Dispatch System).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Dispatch drivers to meet inbound and outbound load delivery schedules.
