More about the role This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a US Trade & Customs Analyst in Peachtree City, GA, or Bridgewater, NJ, with Signify, the world leader in lighting. Create and analyze reports to support team and business initiatives from a variety of sources (e.g., ACE/SAP/Customs Broker Portals); generate and publish monthly reporting for management to ensure visibility of duty/tariff spend and avoidance. Data management through data mining, data modeling, data analysis, cost/benefit analysis, process mapping, and/or problem analysis to support daily, weekly, monthly processes related to trade and customs. Conduct comprehensive audits of customs data to ensure timeliness of clearance, proper payment of duties and fees, accuracy of data transmitted, resolution of entry problems, support of declaration/broker compliance, and opportunities for duty/tariff savings. Assist in the preparation of monthly duty and tariff payments, biannual post-entry refund, and annual drawback claims. Use programing language (SQL, Power Automate, Power Query) to develop tools and AI agents for Trade & Customs team. Maintain parts databases for customs brokers and create and manage Purchase Reqs/Orders for customs services. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, data science, international trade, or related, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Work experience in trade compliance, customs regulations, and/or supply chain logistics
  • Proficient in MS Office and data analytics software; advanced Excel skills required and Power BI experience highly preferred
  • Acute analytical, problem-solving skills, organizational, and time management skills with great attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Customs Broker License, Certified Customs Compliance Specialist, Certified Customs Export Specialist, and External Trade & Customs trainings a plus
