About The Position

GE Aerospace's Software as a Service business seeks sharp, personable, highly organized interns looking to grow their technical and professional skills while building a career in technology. Interns will learn from established professional engineers and work on substantial projects with real impact! You'll build relationships with interns, engineers and leaders through intern community events and grow through professional development and mentoring options. Software as a Service intern assignments are impactful and challenging based on the business needs and the type of work required. Interns have exposure to the Software as a Service leadership team and the GE Aerospace intern network to accelerate learning and development. We are looking for summer interns to join our team and help make a difference working on impactful projects! Supporting the full ecosystem of operations, GE Aerospace, Software as a Service solutions are helping for the now. Flight Ops, Tech Ops, and Maintenance and Reliability Analytics solutions collectively enable operators to gain a better understanding of their data. Assisting with re-optimization, mitigating maintenance time, and reaching sustainability goals and targets, GE Aerospace, SaaS is here to empower airlines to run a more robust and resilient operation and deliver on their customer commitments.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an Associate's, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program at an accredited university
  • Degree focused in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, IT Security, Informatics, Information Science/Technology, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, Security and Risk Analysis, or other relevant STEM majors with Software/IT experience.
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA off a 4.0 scale without rounding
  • Reliable transportation, as many of our sites do not have public transportation available
  • Willing to work in the Cincinnati, OH area
  • Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
