V.I.E (Volontariat International en Entreprise) is a program run by Business France, the French government agency. It allows young professionals from the European Economic Area to work for a French company outside of France for a limited period. Participants are not Ipsen employees but have a special V.I.E status. To take part in the program, there are specific eligibility criteria that must be met and will be verified by Business France. Those who do not meet the eligibility criteria cannot be part of this program but can apply to other opportunities within Ipsen. The US rare disease Brand Manager is responsible for supporting the execution of marketing plans and operations for in-line rare disease products. The Brand Manager is fully responsible for delivering assigned initiatives with a level of attention to detail and strong execution.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple projects to deliver results against tight deadlines
  • Experience working collaboratively with partners, internal and external, including agencies and markets
  • Degree-level education, ideally in life sciences or in business studies
  • Fluent English is compulsory (written and verbal)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within marketing, consulting and/or pharma industry
  • Experience supporting product launch efforts is an asset
  • Degree in life sciences or in business studies

Responsibilities

  • Support the rare disease marketing teams with the implementation brand plans to achieve brand objectives
  • Support the coordination and execution of the brand plan (e.g. development of promotional collateral in partnership with agency, congress planning and management, speaker program content development, field training material development)
  • Lead the implementation of assigned initiatives (campaign and material development, sales meeting planning, KOL ad-board preparation, internal communications,) across a broad range of marketing/commercial topics utilising excellent project management skills to achieve project goals.
  • Work closely with vendors to conceptualize, develop, and execute promotional materials and programs
  • Identify innovative and compliant mechanisms to engage and learn from key customers to differentiate Ipsen based on key company and portfolio needs
  • Apply creativity, innovation & out-of-box thinking to enhance impact of support
  • Ensure that the brand marketing spend on assigned projects is on target and spent efficiently
  • Working with global teams to seek input and drive marketing programs
  • Support team in tracking and articulating market performance, trends and developments to influence business strategy, identify future risks and opportunities
  • Optimise the layout and format of presentations for key internal stakeholders to ensure key messages are clear and resonate
  • Ensures strong cross functional engagement and collaboration in the development and implementation of brand plans and marketing programs
