US Production Lead [full-time] Starting date: as soon as possible Your role We need your help to meet the growing demand in the US for our flying robots. As a UAV Production, you will focus on building the US production, the team, and also assembling and testing new US-built drones, and getting them off the ground to deliver across the United States & Canada.

Requirements

  • Excellent craftsmanship with hands-on experience with electronics, mechanics, and integrated systems, including soldering
  • Your work is precise, thorough, and diligent, with a hands-on problem-solving attitude
  • You demonstrate a proactive work ethic: goal-driven, independent, and structured
  • Entrepreneurial thinker with a proactive and pragmatic mentality, hands-on and problem-solving attitude
  • Team player, open-minded, autonomous, goal-oriented, and highly motivated
  • Good command of spoken and written English, German as a plus

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of drone design and building
  • Drone piloting experience
  • Hands-on ability to troubleshoot HW/SW systems using multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.
  • Technical degree with proven craftsmanship
  • 3+ years of experience in relevant positions
  • Experience working on both mechanical & electrical systems
  • Experience working with Linux

Responsibilities

  • Building and organizing the US production and the team (later)
  • Assemble, maintain, and repair drones and equipment
  • Soldering and testing of mechatronic systems
  • Test-flying our novel drones
  • End-of-line testing and incoming goods inspections
  • Operating different tools, test benches & jigs (training will be provided)
  • Keeping the workplace clean and highly organized
  • Contribution to further development of our manufacturing, assembly, and test procedures
