About The Position

As a US Payroll Tax Mail & Reconciliation Clerk, you will be responsible for processing incoming mail and assisting in the reconciliation of US Payroll Tax Accounts. This includes resolving discrepancies and mapping expectations of newly acquired company tax liabilities. Your role will involve researching, processing, and reconciling transactions of a complex nature, as well as reviewing and transcribing documents such as Tax Statement of Deposits, Payroll Registers, Employee Records, US Payroll Tax Filings, and Payroll Provider Billing Invoices. You will verify the accuracy of billing data, revise any errors, and keep records of invoices and supporting documents. Additionally, you will resolve discrepancies in payroll tax vendor billing records and support the month-end and year-end close process. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, is essential, as you will maintain appropriate files, reports, documentation, and data, ensuring follow-up action as necessary. You may also be required to perform special projects or other duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in payroll/tax/accounting or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with team members, vendors, and tax authorities.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial and employee information.
  • Understanding of Payroll Records and systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
