About The Position
Typical Accountabilities: • Either project manages Medical Affairs specialists or acts as a regional expert on one or more products, markets or Therapy Areas • Ensures effective collaboration between the areas of Medical Affairs • Provides, as an expert, strategic scientific support on processes and projects within area of expertise • May oversees the launch of new clinical trials and/or clinical market access projects • Represents the Medical Affairs function at external events • Networks with colleagues, healthcare professionals and key stakeholders to provide expert guidance and consultancy • Oversees and delivers education and training to employees within Medical Affairs Typical People Management Responsibility (direct / indirect reports): • Approximate number of people managed in total (all levels) - 15 • Manager of a team Our mission is to build an inclusive environment where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and employees. Requirements
- Essential: Bachelor’s Degree
- Extensive experience of Medical Affairs within a pharmaceutical industry
- Project and relationship management experience
Nice To Haves
- Advanced scientific or medical degree
- Understanding of multiple aspects within Medical Affairs
- Extensive knowledge of the latest technical and regulatory developments
