About The Position

The successful candidate shall provide Configuration Management support services in accordance with the contract SOW. This includes: 1. Perform all configuration and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) related tasks necessary to establish Configuration Control (CC) and Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) work. Involves working in Model Based Product Support (MBPS) and Navy Data Environment (NDE), including Navy Modernization Plan (NMP), Entitlement Process (EP), Afloat Master Planning Schedule (AMPS), Navy Modernization (NM), InformeDB, and program specific databases. 2. Must be able to obtain access to Model Based Product Support (MBPS) data environment as a Configuration Technical Data Manager (CTDM) and demonstrate proficiency in configuration status accounting requirements including preparing and submitting Configuration Overhaul Planning (COP) data for configuration database cleanup, system configuration, hierarchal structure, configuration changes and maintenance. 3. Must be able to obtain access to and be experienced in utilizing the Navy Data Environment (NDE) and be proficient with the following applications: Afloat Master Planning System, Entitled Process, Fleet Modernization Program Information, Integrated Logistics Support, Navy Modernization, and NMP Website. 4. Actively monitor, review, disseminate for review, and track Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and other Change Documents for ILS impacts, required configuration records and logistics products updates/development, and manage ILS Certification (to include generation of ILS certs) as required. 5. Generate, collect comments, and generate corrections for ECPs/SCDs/ILS certs as appropriate. 6. Track all technical and supportability requirements for the control of configuration modifications (ECP/SCD/Alteration) to established Configuration Items (CIs), which includes definition of functional and physical characteristics, configuration change justification, impact on all technical and ILS elements, schedules, reviews, retrofit requirements, and life cycle cost estimates. 7. Must be able to obtain access to and be experienced in utilizing JETDAS/NAVLOGTD MKMOD for nomenclature assignments. 8. Support the Alteration Readiness Meeting (ARM) to review status of logistics support and delivery of IPS products for upcoming installations. 9. Support the development and maintenance of baseline configuration charts documenting configurations of GWS and GCS systems for distribution to all GWS support personnel. 10. Coordinate the execution of Local Configuration Control Boards (LCCBs), to include acting as Secretariat for LCCB meetings, developing and distributing LCCB deliverables including but not limited to LCCB Charters, agendas, briefs and meeting minutes. 11. Support Program and Enterprise level CCBs as required, track action items to completion and coordinate responses to higher board data calls as needed. 12. Provide weekly highlights on Programs tasks and accomplishments in a format to be determined by the Integrated Product Support (IPS) lead Branch Manager as required. 13. Coordinate the execution of Software Working Group, to include acting as Secretariat to include updating the state of Software Trouble Reports (STRs), developing and distributing Software Working Group Deliverables including but not limited to agenda, meeting minutes, and STR statuses. 14. Support onboard ship assessments, Physical Configuration Audit (PCA), Combat System Assessment Team (CSAT) events, Fleet Logistics Assessments (FLA) as required. A009)

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to in the United States without the need of employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance level Secret
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 or more years in coordinating, planning, tracking, and scheduling in a logistician, project management, or operations role
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access)
