The Tech Professional Electrical/Electronic, Principal at Halliburton Technology Partners, LLC is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting electrical and/or electronic hardware and/or firmware for downhole tools and surface systems. This role involves working with both analog and digital circuitry, power transmission and distribution, as well as signal and communications systems. The position requires diagnosing instrument and electrical and/or electronic system problems, servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining instrument and electrical and/or electronics components in surface and downhole equipment. The individual will independently perform analytical troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical and/or electronic systems, and may also develop, test, and debug firmware for Microprocessor/Micro-controller/DSP systems. The role includes evaluating, selecting, and applying standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, while developing specifications, conducting process studies, and preparing reports. Additionally, the position involves providing technical guidance to designers/drafters and less experienced engineers, and may require technical leadership in developing solutions and devising new approaches to encountered problems. Reliability analysis is incorporated during the design and test process, and compliance with Halliburton HSE and Service Quality requirements is mandatory.
